Timmen is a time tracker for freelancers on Android. Track your hours while you work, then turn them into a PDF invoice when it's time to bill. Your data never leaves your phone.
How it works
Start a timer
Pick a project and start. The timer keeps running even when the app is closed.
Label your hours
When you stop the timer, describe what you did in a few words. They go on the invoice, word for word.
Invoice your hours
Timmen groups unbilled hours by client. Pick the entries to bill, add VAT, and send the invoice.
The document
The invoice is the whole point.
Timmen is built around the PDF you send. Entries are grouped by project and merged by day, and your labels become the line descriptions.
Printed hours × printed rate = printed amount, to the cent.
VAT and discounts are included.
Voiding an invoice returns its entries to unbilled, so you can fix a mistake and generate it again.

Local-first
Everything stays on your phone.
Clients, rates, entries and invoices are stored on your device. There's no account and no server.
Android backs the file up automatically, so it comes back when you switch phones.
There are no analytics or ads, and we don't collect your email.
Everything works without a connection, including creating and sharing invoices.

Is Timmen free?+
One client is free forever, with full invoicing, VAT and discount included. Pro is a one-time $20 purchase that unlocks unlimited clients, your logo on the invoice, CSV export, and a home screen widget.
Is there a subscription?+
No. Pro is a single purchase through Google Play.
Where is my data?+
On your phone, the same way your photos are. There's no Timmen account and nothing is uploaded anywhere. When your phone runs its normal Google backup, your Timmen data is included, so it comes back if you lose your phone or buy a new one.
What happens if I forget a timer overnight?+
Nothing is lost. The app shows how long the timer has been running, and when you stop it you can trim the entry before saving. Timmen never stops or deletes a timer on its own.
Is there an iPhone version?+
Coming soon. Timmen launches on Android first, and an iPhone version is planned.
