Terms of service

These terms cover your use of the Timmen Android app and the timmen.app website. They're short: you're using an app that runs on your phone.

The app

Timmen is licensed to you for personal or business use on your Android devices. The free tier and the Pro upgrade are described on the pricing section of this site. Pro is a one-time purchase made through Google Play; Google's terms of service and refund policy apply to the transaction. Because Timmen runs entirely on your device, it keeps working even if we stop developing it.

Your data, your responsibility

Timmen stores your data locally on your device and does not maintain copies. Android's automatic backup is enabled, but you are responsible for keeping backups of data that matters to your business — including before switching devices, uninstalling the app, or resetting your phone.

Invoices

Timmen generates invoice documents from the data you enter. You are responsible for the accuracy and legal adequacy of your invoices — including rates, tax settings, numbering and any information your jurisdiction requires. Timmen is a tool, not tax or legal advice.

No warranty

Timmen is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or other indirect damages arising from your use of the app or this site, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app. Both the disclaimer and the cap apply only to the extent the law allows: where consumer law gives you rights that can't be waived, those rights remain.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves; the current version always lives at this address with the date above. For material changes, we'll give notice in the app or on this page a reasonable time before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, and disputes belong to the courts of Israel. If you're a consumer, this doesn't take away mandatory protections — or the right to go to your own courts — under the law of the country you live in.
